Creative Dance - Ages 2.5-4 years
This class will help students grow emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Students will grow and learn by exploring, developing and creating through dance. Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes or comfortable clothing and bare feet. No socks please.
Preschool Creative Expressions - Ages 3-5
Students will explore dance, drama and art in this class that allows children to grow and learn through art exploration, discovery, role-play, and creatively moving to music, games, and age appropriate themed activities.. Attire: Comfortable clothing and bare feet or ballet shoes. No socks please.
Mommy (or Daddy!) and Me Ballet Class - Adults and children Ages 4-5
Ever wanted to take a ballet class with your son or daughter? Now’s your chance! Adult students will participate in this 30-minute ballet class with their son or daughter. This class will incorporate barre exercises, center work and choreography. This class is taught in a fun and nurturing environment. Participants may wear comfortable clothing or leotard, tights and ballet shoes.
Pre-ballet/Pre-tap - Ages 5-6
This class will familiarize students with classroom etiquette, ballet, and tap basics in a safe and fun environment. Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet shoes, and tap shoes.
Hip Hop Kidz - Ages 5-6 and Hip Hop- Ages 7-12
Students will work on strength, flexibility, balance and memorizing choreography. Students will also learn popular hip hop dance styles, taught in a safe environment with family-friendly music and dance moves. All moves and music are age appropriate. Please wear comfortable clothing and clean sneakers or bare feet.
Couples Ball Room Dance – Adults only
Dress code for this class is comfortable clothing, and footwear that remains secured to your foot, while allowing you to twist on the floor without knee torsion. Not in session for January.
Ballet I/Tap I - Ages 7-9
This class will reinforce and build upon ballet concepts from preballet and progress to more barre exercises, progressions and center exercises, along with posture, grace, strength and flexibility. Students will also work on more intricate tap techniques and rhythms. Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet, and tap shoes.
Ballet II/Tap II - Ages 9-12
This class will reinforce and build upon ballet and tap concepts learned in ballet I and Tap I. Students will refine technique and be introduced to more intricate ballet vocabulary. They will also be introduced to more intricate rhythms and tap choreography. Attire: Leotard, tights, ballet, and tap shoes required.
Lyrical - Ages 9-12
This class incorporates ballet, jazz, and modern technique and is infused with dances that are emotional and inspirational. Students must be currently enrolled in a ballet II class to participate. Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes.
Adult Ballet - Ages 16+
This is a 60 minute traditional ballet class. This class will introduce you to all aspects of ballet technique in a fun and relaxed environment. Improve posture and grace in this fun-filled class! Leotard and tights NOT required. Please wear comfortable clothing. Ballet shoes are preferred. January 6th thru February 10th (6 week session)
Adult Beginner Tap – Ages 16-up
This class teaches the fundamentals of tap in a creative and fun environment. Participants will work on basic tap steps, rhythms, and choreography. Bring your friends and learn the basics of tap together! Comfortable clothing and tap shoes required.
Teeni Ballerini- Ages 4 only
This is a fun ballet class for 4 year olds. We will explore ballet through stories and our imagination. Students will work on vocabulary, balance, strengthening and stretching their muscles. This class will familiarize students with classroom etiquette and ballet basics in a safe and fun environment. Attire: leotard, tights and ballet shoes.
Tiny Tappers-Ages 4 only
This is a fun tap class for 4 year olds. We will explore tap through stories and our imagination. Students will work on vocabulary, rhythm, musicality, timing, and body placement. Energetic warm-ups, exercises, and combinations will be explored all why learning the fundamental steps of tap.
30 minute class per week is $32.00 per month
45 minute class per week is $42.00 per month
1 hr class per week is $52.00 per month
1.5 hr class per week is $75.00 per month
2.0 hr class per week is $85.00 per month
6 week Adult Session class is $75.00
Monthly tuition is due the 10th of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be added to your account if payment is not received by the 10th of the month. Rates are based on a nine month schedule, and payments can be evenly divided for monthly payments. Those paying by semester, or quarterly will receive a discount.
Acting Out 1- Ages 6-9
Do you enjoy exploring through movement, character development, and stage projection? If so then Acting Out is the class for you! Through Improv., acting games, character building , utilizing costumes, props, and monologues; we will learn how we can turn on the lights of our imaginations. This class is appropriate for our theatre company participants, as well as those individuals who are interested in seeing what acting is all about.
September thru May 2017: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm.
Acting Out 2
This class builds on the foundation of Acting Out 1. If you enjoyed acting out 1, ACTing Out 2 takes you to another level that puts character and story in motion. We will be engaging in original scene work, scripted scene work and continuing in costume and prop exploration. Take it to the next level with ACTing Out 2! This class is also appropriate for actors with previous experience over the age of 13 years. Teens and adults with no previous experience will be placed in our beginning level Acting Out 1. At least two (6-8 week) sessions of Acting Out 1 are required in order to participate in the level 2 class.
September thru May 2017: Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm.
Stranger Things Have Happened! (Come and Experience the Power of Play)- Ages 9-15
This is a beginning improvisation class for students and adults ages 11 and up. Come explore the elements of improve, you will learn some of the core fundamentals and principles of improve, focus on various games and exercises to encourage trust, communication, agreement, active listening, character development, status, and much, much more, no class will ever be the same!!!!!! (Must have had at least two sessions of Acting Out 1 or equivalent for this class).
September thru May of 2017: Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm.
Ready, Set, Action! - Ages 6-8
This class will use a wide range of drama games to reinforce good stage craft, team work, vocal skills (projection), confidence, and stage presence all while discovering the world of theatre.
Drama and Play - Ages 3-5
This class will focus on imagination, role playing, storytelling, interpretive games and activities, along with exploring costume pieces, and character development. This class is designed for students ages 3 to 5 years.
This class currently meets on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-11:30am.

Each week a different theme engages children imaginations in dance, art, and drama activities. Themes include, but are not limited to: Nursery Rhymes, Seasons, Nature, animals, places in the world, friendships, and much more. 30 minutes will be spent in each core area. It’s amazing what they will learn when we allow them to explore and use their creativity!
This class currently meets on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30am.
Family Theatre Company
Have you ever wanted to be in a stage production with other members of your family? If so then don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Actors young and old will work together to create a lifelong family memory. So many ways to be a part of a production on and off stage, all while building a strong foundation with you, and other families who value the same things you do. Youth/Adult Theatre Company
Do you have a child, or teen, or maybe yourself who would like to be part of an acting company? This is your opportunity as all paid members are guaranteed a speaking role in the production. This is a great way to be a part of show, learn the ins and outs of being in a production, all while preparing you to grow as an actor. Youth/Adult Theatre Company (ages 8 to adult) is $225.00 per year, season runs from September to June.
Family Theatre Company (ages 8 to adult) is $425 per year, season runs from September to June. This package covers 2 or more family members.
Jam with Me - This is a thirty minute music session, in which children can attend weekly, or come and try at your leisure. Children will explore with different musical instruments like steel drums, djembe’s, bongos, congas, electric piano, guitar, and more. This is a great opportunity for children to come and explore with instruments, in a comfortable, expressive environment. The class is led by Rebecca Achenbach who has been exploring different instruments, and working with children for over 25 years. So stop by, and come Jam with me! This class runs most Tuesdays and Thursdays unless the instructor is out in the community doing outreach. See our Winter/Spring schedule for dates.
Preschool Music - Ages 2 and half to 5 years. Children will learn songs, through dramatic interpretations, hand motions, and instrument exploration. Children will be allowed to move freely in our studio, choose their own instruments, and explore the many different ways to make rhythms, and use our bodies to create new sounds, and songs. We will also explore the many different materials we can use to make instruments, like: balloons, rubber bands, oatmeal containers, spoons, and more. Come join the fun!
Shake, Rattle, and Roll (Music and Movement/Family Music and Movement) - This music class is geared for a child with a parent, or guardian, ages 18 month to 3 years. We will spend our time moving, and grooving to music, interacting with instruments, learning new songs, and finger plays, all while spending some much needed quality time with our loved one. This class is led by Rebecca Achenbach, who has over 25 years experience working with young children and families.
Music & Voice Private Instruction - Ages 6 to adult, $30 per hour, and $20 per half hour. Private instruction can be done with voice, piano, and guitar. Private instruction is led by Justin Budzynski, John Ford, Mark Thompson, and Rebecca Achenbach. Contact the center at 269-321-8385 to set up your instruction time, and instructor.

Art Adventures - Ages 6-7
Each one hour class period we will try and complete a finished project using different materials such as watercolors, colored pencils, clay, paper Mache’ and construction paper. We will get messy and have fun while still learning some of the fundamentals and mediums of art.
This class is currently running on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
Art-Tastic- Ages 8-12
A great class for kids who want to paint, draw, and create. Each class will be something different. Build on skills you already have or start experimenting something new.
Teen Art- Ages 13-16
A variety of projects will be worked on with an emphasis on drawing in different media. For the beginner or more advanced student.
$48 - $60 for a 4 week session depending on activities cost. Monthly tuition is due the 10th of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be added to your account if payment is not received by the 10th of the month. Rates are based on 4 classes per month. September and April's tuition will be prorated for a three week session.
Adult Art & Wine Night - 7-9 pm for ages 21 & up. Details listed at the top of this page.
Eat, Drink, Paint! Night - 7-9 pm for young adults ages 17-20. 3rd Tuesday of every month. There will be a variety of projects involving all different types of media.
